Variety for virus elimination/sanitation procedure: Plavac mali (small loose cluster, soft stems, firm berry skin suitable for longer ripening on the vine and later harvests, larger and more regular fruiting on buds closer to the stem)

The winemaker’s philosophy: raise a vineyard of a chosen plavac mali clone with with exclusively virus-free plants and produce wine of the highest quality year after year.

Sugar elimination in must from a selected vineyard of Plavac mali (25° according to Babo). Winemaker Tonči Marijan received the highest award for the quality of his wines at Decanter’s 2019 competition: the gold medal for Plavac Mali wine, vintage 2012, with 95 points.
